About Us

Digital marketing education has grown fast over the past decade. Bootcamps and professional certificates took off, online degrees expanded, and new programs launch every year. For someone trying to decide where to study, that is a lot to wade through.

We built Digital Marketing Degree to make it easier. The site covers digital marketing programs in all 50 states, sorted by type (bootcamps, courses and certificates, and degrees) and by level, from short certificates to bachelor’s and master’s degrees. We publish program comparisons, state-by-state guides, career breakdowns, and data on tuition, salaries, accreditation, and funding.

The idea is to put what you need in one place, so you are not stitching it together from a dozen university sites and government pages.

Who we are

Digital Marketing Degree is owned and operated by Pacific Shores Research Group, LLC, an independent digital publisher based in the United States. Pacific Shores runs several education-focused sites, each built around a specific field.

Our editorial team

Our content comes from an editorial team with experience in higher-education publishing and digital marketing. Researchers compile the program listings from primary sources, writers turn that into readable guides, and editors check the details before anything goes out. When a topic calls for it, we draw on people who have worked in digital marketing or been through the programs we cover.

Editorial standards

To build our listings, we review accreditation directories (including AACSB and the regional accreditors), the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the O*NET database, IPEDS data, state workforce and financial-aid agencies, and individual university program pages. We try to make each state’s program list as complete as we can.

Program data such as tuition, salary figures, program counts, and accreditation status is reviewed and updated twice a year. Career guides and program overviews are reviewed annually. When we publish a ranking or curated list, we explain the criteria on the page.

Our Editorial Standards page has the full detail on how we produce and maintain content.

How we make money

We earn revenue through program advertisements and sponsored placements, which cover the cost of research, writing, and keeping the data current. Compensation does not influence our editorial content. Sponsored listings are labeled, and rankings are produced independently. Our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure explains the specifics.

Data sources and accuracy

Digital marketing education is a moving target. Programs open and close, switch formats, change tuition, and update admissions all the time. We pull from the sources above and recheck them on a regular cycle, but we do not catch everything. If you find something wrong or out of date, let us know and we will fix it promptly.
